About Me

My life story and journey with my mental health led me to this beautiful career; I am a wounded healer and wear that badge proudly. In my work as a therapist, I am deeply honoured by the opportunity to partner with individuals, as they experience healing and transformation in their lives.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Certified Music Therapist with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT).

I've been in love with music and the arts for my whole life. From a young age, I knew I wanted to use these mediums to support others, as I experienced, firsthand, how they allowed me to come home to myself - mind, body, and soul. I hold a Master's degree in Music Therapy/Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, and have also completed training in other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, addictions counselling, trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness techniques.

I've had the incredible opportunity to work with children, teens, and adults with a variety of complex needs and mental health concerns. Adults have now become my primary focus in therapy. I support individuals with trauma, complex trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring diagnoses. In addition to working in private practice, I've had the opportunity to work in residential addiction treatment, community mental health organizations, and hospital settings.

I am rooted in a holistic, relational, and trauma-informed approach to wellness and firmly believe that our creativity is an outward expression of our inner world. My life calling is to see people grow and lean into their inner strength.
